Frankly, I'm puzzled whenever I hear this from somebody who's
frustrated with their lack of gains:
Me: So what are you eating? How many calories per day and how
many do you need?
Them: I don't know. I just eat.
Huh?
Yes, it's true. People don't track their diets, don't calculate
their calories and just guess at what they need. They have no
idea where they are going, very little facts on how to get there
and yet are frustrated and mad when 6 weeks later they don't see
the results.
Imagine, for a ...

Irritable bowel syndrome is a frequently diagnosed condition in
this country. Approximately 10 to 20% of people have this
condition. Women account for almost 70% of this group. This
condition causes explosive diarrhoea, constipation and abdominal
pain as well as other symptoms. There is no cure for irritable
bowel syndrome so one of the best and easiest ways to treat this
condition is through the irritable bowel syndrome diet.
The irritable bowel syndrome diet helps to alleviate the
symptoms ...

The research is clear, food intolerance, allergies, and
hypersensitivities are key triggers of headaches and migraines.
Although each migraine sufferer may react to a different food or
group of foods, there are a few which seem to pop up as frequent
offenders: dairy (including milk, cheeses, and yogurt), wheat,
eggs, soy, corn, citrus, chocolate, coffee, beef, yeast, red
wine, and processed foods with additives and preservatives.
In the pursuit to identify these top offenders, scientists ...

Do you find yourself asking all the right dieting questions but
getting all the wrong answers? Are you tired of searching the
internet and coming up with no real viable solution?
Dieting is extremely tough. For anyone who is overweight it's
one of life's hardest endeavors. Social stigmas can cause a

and 'less of a person'. I know, I've been there and I fought the
battle with every ounce of energy to win my life back.
Today ...

Let's take a food already synonymous with several Western
societies, the ones with the highest obesity rates in the world,
and convince people that it's the key to weight loss. Brilliant
marketing scheme! Just one minor flaw, they forgot to take into
account common sense.
If you confront the people who have gleefully taken on the new
"3-A-Day of Dairy - Burn More Fat, Lose Weight" plan, you will
find that most haven't seen an ounce of weight loss, and some
have even gained a few pounds. If you ...

DIET FOR LIVING A HEALTHY LIFE
Entertainment no longer requires energy expenditure. In fact,
it's usually quite the opposite. We now entertain ourselves in
the comfort of our own home while watching TV and munching on
our favorite snack. Whether it's television, computers, remote
controls, or automobiles, we are moving less and burning fewer
calories. Common activities that were once a part of our normal
routine have disappeared...activities like climbing stairs,
pushing a lawn mower or walking ...

The reason many dieters fail to reach their goals has to do with
the dieter not seeing results fast enough. Most traditional
methods of losing weight can mean having to wait a week or more
just to experience one pound of weight loss. For people who want
to lose a significant amount of weight, the timeline to
experience weight loss can lead to a loss in motivation. In
recent years there has been a challenge to the age-old claim
that the most healthy weight loss plan is one that involves ...

A gluten-free, casein free diet is recommended for Asperger's
Syndrome children and adults.
Often parents feel rather overwhelmed with such a restrictive
diet, and only opt to embrace it as a last resort. The results
produced by the diet varies markedly - but the keyword here is
RESULT. You can expect some result.
Children with autistic spectrum disorders usually have
gastointestinal problems as well, such as reflux, constipation,
diarrhoea, vomiting and hiccups. It is known that the ...

By now, almost everyone has heard of the Atkins diet. This is
the diet that promotes weight loss through the consumption of
foods low in carbohydrates and quite high in fat and protein
contents, but not necessarily low in calories.
It was the brain-child of Dr. R. C. Atkins who claimed that it
would initiate a greater weight loss than a conventional, low
calorie diet composed of a "balance" of carbohydrates, fats, and
proteins. In addition, it was supposed to be friendly to those
prone to ...
